INTRODUCTION
As learners enter the sublevel EGB Superior, it is important to remember that language is principally about interacting with others and expressing meaning. English is an important communication tool in today’s globalized world, one which allows learners to communicate beyond their own linguistic and geographical boundaries. Learners in EGB Superior are becoming more mature and more expressive, and being able to communicate in the international language of English will prepare them for a myriad of career opportunities, responsibilities and experiences they will surely encounter in the coming years. Learners who can evaluate and analyze information in a variety of ways using a variety of skills ( Listening, speaking, Reading and writing), learners who can respond appropriately in a range of social interactions and learners who are critical and creative thinkers. Along these lines, the EFL curriculum for EGB Superior has taken into consideration the cognitive, social, emotional and physical growth of the learners.

 OBJECTIVES 

O.EFL 4.1 Identify the main ideas, some details and inferences of written texts, in order to produce level-appropriate critical analysis of familiar subjects and contexts.
O.EFL 4.2 Appreciate and value English as an international language and a medium to interact globally.
O.EFL 4.4 Develop creative and critical thinking skills when encountering challenges in order to promote autonomous learning and decisión making.
O.EFL 4.9 Create a sense of awareness in terms of accuracy when learners interact in English using high-frequency and level-appropriate expressions in order to reach an effective command of spoken language.
